Legal Question in Administrative Law in California

not sure

i was carrying on a relationship with one of the owner of the company I work for. My manager found out and told everyone in the co. This has made for a very hostile environment for me. My manager has lied and gottn the rest of the employees against me. they dont talk to me and say things like its only sexual harassment if u dont like it. The co. has just settled a lawsuit with the other owner similar to whats happening to me. I have tests from the owner I was with saying he wishes he could help me but he is sorry. Is there anything I can do legally??

Re: not sure

I do not understand how an owner of the company seems to act as they are a mere employee. If he is the co-owner, he is the company! The only way what you say makes sense is if he owns a large part of the shares of the company.

If the ownere took advantage of you by starting a sexual relationship, he can be sued for sexaul harassment. The case is weaken if you did enjoy the relationship butyou still have a case. Likewise it seems you have a case for a hostile work environment. You should go to the FEHA [I think I have the rlight initials] and file a comp[laint along wlith getting ilnformation from them. You may then want to hire an expert attorney in the field.
