If i have a disorderly conduct on my record will this disqualify me for buying a gun?. I took a plea from suspicion of drunk driving to disorderly. Also I have an other than honorable discharge from the military will this affect me?

Felony convictions and restraining orders will make you a 'prohibited person', not misdemeanors. An actual Dishonorable Discharge does as well. You can have a gun store run a preliminary check on you to see what DOJ says. There is a small fee for the service.

Your conviction can probably be 'expunged' by proper application and Motion to the court, if you completed all terms of probation, and if you have no new charges. If successful, the conviction would be retroactively withdrawn and the charges dismissed. That does not 'remove' the conviction, but merely changes the record to show 'conviction reversed and dismissed by expungement'. If expunged, you would be able to say 'no' to conviction on most employment applications. If youre serious about doing so, and you think you qualify, feel free to contact me for the legal help you'll need.
