appelate court rules

a jury enters verdict contrary to evidence, judge allows verdict. you want to appeal. what appeal would be the best to enter to the court that would possibly overturn trial courts decision. please support answer with legal authority

Nice try, no brass ring. If you intend to file an appeal, assuming you are timely in doing so, you'll need far more than a few free handy hints from here. Appeals require review and analysis of the entire trial transcript and records, to determine what grounds and arguments may be properly raised, research of the law for preparation of the pleadings [briefs and replies to opposition briefs] and argument to the appeals court. Unless you are experienced and effective in pleadings and representing yourself in court, hire an attorney who is.

Unlike Mr, Shers and Mr. Stone, I don't think you're trying to get help with an actual appeal. I believe instead that you're trying to get us to answer a homework assignment for you. Either way, you're out of luck.
