Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in California

I was a complainant in a jury trial in the USA District Court 1/17 - 1/20. My ex-wife was a person of interest in a child abuse situation on November 22, 03. She live maybe 100 miles away in the same county. On december 1, 03 at 10;30 PM A social worker came to my door asked for me and my children and their mother. I told her We all lived there except the mother, we were divorced and if she needed anymore info speak with my Attorney. I gave her the number. 12 hours later, 10:30 that morning 2-nurses,1s.w. and 2 sheriffs came to my home. My son answered the door and I moved him over and began speaking to these people. They wanted my ex-wife. I told them the same thing and didn't want them bothering us. The Sheriffs charged into the home almost knocking me down. I had to get out the way. Everyone else came in. They searched the home. and strip searched my child while I told them to stop and get out. After that the SW came back the next day and I refused to let her in again. Later I was told I had to take my children to a physical or they would remove them from the home and do it them selves. There bodies were strip searched again by county workers. The defendants attorney purposely presented evidence that was not what he was saying it was. he was allowed to call me a demon, while my attorney was not allowed to say how clean of a life I lived. At 57 I never had a incident with the law in my life. I have two sons on the Sheriff Dept. where I was investigated for them to get their jobs in there teenage years. What happened to me and my children in my home really happened and the verdict came down to I consented to everything that was done to me. At some point the SW said one of the Sheriffs violated me, at another point the Sheriff said the SW violated me. I was told by one of the nurses they were allowed to come into the home because I didn't allow the SW to come in the night before. I was ordered to stay in one spot of my home while they did what they wanted to. My civil rights were violated. My Attorney insisted on a 2000K/2 million settlement for all that happened to me, my adult child and two children. I was to appeal. I don't know if I can and If I don't get a attorney to do it can I do it in ProPer.

My Attorney insisted on a 2000K/2 million settlement for all that happened to me, my adult child and two children. I was to appeal.

What does that mean? Insisted to whom? Do you mean offered, or accepted? did you receive a settlement or a verdict? Were you paid? A little less anger, and a little more clarity will get you some answers.
