Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

my attorney had displincary action taken

i hired an attorney to do my bankrupsy. after my discharge i found out that my attorney did not file the papers to remove lien against my property as he said he was going to. after months a trying to contact him i just found out that he had a misrepresentation case file against him and will be suspended from practicing for 6 mo. starting 9/04. i don't know what to do. can i file the appropiate papers to reopen and have lien removed myself? can i file against him for not doing as he said? can i file against him because he did not tell of the pending case against him? thank you.

3. I suppose that might be an element to bring up in the facts in a complaint for malpractice. That's beyond the scope of this forum though.
