You may, however, you should discuss this with your attorney if you are represented in the Bankruptcy proceeding. I generally encourage my clients not to contact them and to let our office coordinate any correspondence with them.

FYI: The House of Representatives last night passed a mortgage relief measure for people who qualify in Chapter 13 bankruptcies. It's now up to the U.S. Senate to decide whether to approve it.
