Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

I have been unemployed for 2 years but recently found a part time job. I am $30,000 dollars in debt, and can't pay it back. I have always had impeccable credit and made sure everything was either paid off or paid monthly without a hitch. Now between trying to maintain my own health insurance and these outrageous debts I find I am drowning in despair and anxiety. What can I possibly do? Plus I am working on a 1099 and can not afford 1 penny to set aside towards the tax deductions that will hit me at the end of the year. I need some advice quick...I do not own a home or any other property except my own car. I have no assests and need help. Thank you!
