Legal Question in Business Law in California

If a customer leaves an item for repair, and never picks it up , what is my recourse? I have left many messages on an answering machine and sent a couple of letters. We repair musical instruments.

Ultimately you will be able to seel the instrument but there is a complex set of rules and time frames that you need to comply with.
