Can you be fired while you are on suspetion because you did not show up on a day tha was not posted

Yes, unless there is a contract saying otherwise, such as a collective bargaining agreement. Also, you can resign. Employment is a matter of continuing mutual willingness of the employer and the employee to work together. The employer has no right to you, and you have no right to the employment.

Yes. In general, unless an employee is civil service, in a union, or has a written employment contract, they are an 'at will' employee that can be disciplined or terminated any time for any reason, with or without �cause�, explanation or notice.
