how do i get a back ground search to see what is one it.

There are various private investigators who can do one for a price. If it's for yourself, you can get a free credit report online. You can also go to the local courthouse and type the person's name in the computer and see if the person's been involved in lawsuits. You can use an internet search engine for the person's name and see what comes up.
