friends and I went back to buy more shirts

that were on special price that I paid last

Sunday $4.18. Anyway when we went to

checkout counter I showed him the sunday

reciept and asked if the price would be

same and his reply was yes sure I can do it

for you. But then when I mentioned two

toher friends are also paying the same

price he got little upset and with high

tone he said I promise to do you a favor

not your friends. He continued is this

culture from back home India/ Pakistan that

you guys bring in. I told him enough and

shut up now. But he continued asz if he was

enjoying with the racial remarks. SO I

asked him to shut and get the manager. But

he continued high pitch verbage. This

created a scene and I moved to another

counter and asked the other sales person to

get me manager. Since it created scene and

got everyones attention in the store the

manager Finally showed up I explained to

said sir I will talk to him and we this

sales person would take care of you and

Re: civil lawsuite

I am very sorry to hear that you had to endure this horrendous incident. You should not have been treated in the manner that you were. Nevertheless, it appears that the manager immediately took appropriate steps to rectify the situation and, perhaps, to deal with the errant staff member.

In a large organization, it is difficult to ensure that all employees learn appropriate customer service, despite its best efforts to provide the necessary training. When this happens, the organization usually has in place programs to retrain the employee and/or impose the requisite discipline.

You probably will not know what the store did in this regard. An apology to you, though, would be in order.
