Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Back on 10-12-2012 I signed up for a 7 day free trial with a company on the internet called WORTHPOINT. Within minutes of doing so I realized something just wasn't right. I was going to be charged for the one answer that I was looking for. I cancelled immediately, actually on four different spots of their site. Months went by a I forgot all about it. Then my checking account keeps getting messed up. I start receiving OD charges when I should have had money in my account. I figured out that WORTHPOINT had been charging me all along & each time they did I was charged an extra $35 OD I wasn't expecting the charge & didn't have enough money in my account to cover it. I contacted them. They reimbursed me the monthly charges but not the fees I was charged by my bank. Shouldn't they have to also pay those. I wouldn't have received them if they hadn't taken money out of my account without my knowledge or permission??

Talk to your bank about waiving the fees for the unauthorized charges.
