Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Consumer Refunds

I recently purchased a Wealth Builder Package from Rich Dad/Wealth Intelligence Academy for $35,000.00 at a seminar. If the instructor says that I can cancel after the 1st day and get a refund no questions asked, is that legally binding? The way that the contract is written and with what the instructor stated this leads me to believe that I will be entitled to a full refund if I am unsatisfied. I called the company to speak with someone about there refund policy and was not given a straight answer as to what there policy is. I explained my scenario to the student resolution rep and she said that she thinks that I should have no problem. Is that also legally binding?
