Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Contract Law

I signed a contract with a hotel to host a family reunion in August. I had to cancel the reunion and the hotel is holding me responsible for 100% of the rooms that were reserved for us over $7,000. Do I have to pay, is there any way out

Re: Contract Law

I would obviously have to review the contract and other rules and documentation. Then, I would act quickly to take every legal action possible so that they cant hold you responsible. Contact my office if you realize you need to act quickly and want to try to get out of this.

Best,

Re: Contract Law

The contract would need to be reviewed and the hotel would have to prove that they could have rented the rooms except for your reservation. A rate of occupancy for a hotel to be that high would be unusual. Contact me directly.
