Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Can an attorney call witness to appear for debt collection for a corporation debt which already a judgement? Can we make a motion to quash it.

Yes, it is probably an order for examination and usually if the witness will not show up then the creditor can have the court issue a bench warrant for the person to be arrested for failure to obey the order of the court. It can be quashed if the person has nothing to do with the debt or has any information about the debt (basically the person must not be involved at all) but it is more costly to try to quash than to show up and tell the attorney the same thing if true.
