Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Credit report judgement

Have 2 judgements on my wifes credit report. What's the best way to handle them, and get them removed from my credit report? One is from 2000, with the other being 2004

Re: Credit report judgement

If the judgments are legitimate, then you wife will need to pay the judgment creditors and get them to sign a form called an Acknowledgment of Satisfaction of Judgment. Once the judgements have been paid, you can show this documentation to the credit bureaus.

If the judgments are against somebody else, contact the credit bureaus in writing and dispute the entries on her credit report.
