Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Loan Shark

I signed a contract with CashCall a loan shark company. I have paid back the amount that I borrowed. The interest rate is rediculous and they have been harrassing with phone calls and letters. My question is if I go to court with them since the amount borrowed is paid back do you think that I have a chance in winning?

Re: Loan Shark

You should talk to an attorney. If you think they are charging you interest over the amount set by law, you need to get legal advice. However, if the amount of interest they charge is legal, then you are obligated to pay the interest as well.
