Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Mechanic's lean

Months ago, at a local Firestone shop, I racked-up $1,500 of car repairs. I ''paid'' for it with my then Firestone credit card (good for car repairs ONLY). However, I never paid-off any of that Firestone credit card debt. QUESTION: If I were to return to that same Firestone shop, with intent of paying CASH this time for DIFFERENT repairs, could they, nevertheless, SEIZE my car for failure to pay-off ANY of that months-old Firestone credit card debt --- even though I would NOT be using any type of credit card this time around?????
