Personal Exposure on Corporate Obligations

an independent contractor performed services

without a wriiten agreement. one officer ( the

fundraiser) of the corporation unsuccessfully

attempted to raise money to pay contractor.

contractor does work that was not requested and

submits--name removed--4 times original

estimate. release

negotiated by fundraising officer agrees to high

amount and is signed by both officers. fundraiser

only able to secure one half of the amount agreed

to. creative officer being asked to personally pay

remainder - about $4000. am I liable?
