Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Post Judgement Fees

I'm getting a legal statement saying I owe a post judgment fee of $500.00 from a past debt of $6400.00 from a legal debt collector. I've since paid off debt via wage garnishment. That was 2 years ago. Now the debt collector is saying I still owe a post judgment fee. Is this really a fee or is the debt collector up to something?

Re: Post Judgement Fees

If you paid in full, a statisfaction of judgment should be filed. Please contact me if you want me to review the judgment and another other proof that supports your contention that the judgment has been paid.
