Stature of Limitation

Is there a stature of limition on a student loan that is in default for over 20 years?

There is no statute of limitations on Federally subsidized student loans, however there is a provision in the bankruptcy code which would allow you to discharge the debt if there is no possible way that you can pay the loan back. It is almost impossible to reach this level of proof however!!
