civil rights after felony conviction

California, 1971, unlawful sex, felony conviction, no jail time, 4years probation, completed. not required to register. do I have my civil rights?

recently called for jury duty, and receptionist released me when I mentioned this.

You have a lifetime exemption from having to do jury duty, or as they say in the computer business, it's not a bug, it's a feature.

You may vote, but as attorney Nelson said, firearms are a no-no.

If you have been out of trouble for five years or longer, see a local attorney about possibly applying for a Certificate of Pardon and Rehabilitation.
