Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Need to clear up a warrant

I need a lawyer in Riverside Co. to represent me in clearing up an warrant. I was arrested for possession over 6 years ago and went to diversion classes. I moved away to take a good job and get away from bad influences in So. Cal. I have lived in No. Cal. for 4 1/2 years now and am doing great. I happened upon the court website and put my name in just for fun. It actually shows that I have a warrant. I'm assuming it's for not going back to court after I was done with diversion. What I need is an attorney that can handle this for me and get the warrant cleared and if I have to pay any fines or do the diversion class again, to get it transferred to No. Cal. I'm hoping I can avoid going down there at all. Please let me know. If you can help me, without me having to appear in So. Cal., please call me at the number provided.

Re: Need to clear up a warrant

If your have proof of satisfactory completion of all your programs and all other terms of probation, then I will be able to make an appearance to submit those items in order to persuad the court to recall the warrant without further serious punishment or big fines. If you finished the programs, you shouldn't have to do anything over again. You probably missed the 'show back' appearance that would have resulted in an order for release from futher court supervision. Contact me to discuss the costs and facts if interested.

Re: Need to clear up a warrant

I was in court in Riverside this morning and I'm going back in two weeks. I can appear on your behalf and request that the warrant be recalled. I can then (if appropriate) enter a plea on your behalf once we know what you're facing.

Your number didn't show up, but you can call our office at 949-548-1700
