Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

criminal charges against me

I have gave my recording on my innocences.The investigator and their witness knows i personally didnt do forgery. My ex had admitted to everything but the DA still charged me for this crime.Isnt it misconducting on the prosectutors end,therefore must be dimissed? how do i approach this? my lawyer seems not being helpful and saying he makes deals. that this case is out of his lead.that theres nothing we cannot do or touch the DA for wrong doing. he seems to be on their side then mines. He then claims the he doesnt know the law.what can i do to approach of money loss?

The D.A. does not have to believe what you or your husband have said. People lie to protect themselves and/or their loved ones, and it would make no sense to require prosecutors to ignore this reality. This doesn't mean either of you lied, but it does mean the prosecutor is allowed to disbelieve you.

It was a mistake to talk to the investigators, because you very likely gave them information with which to build a stronger case against you. This is probably why your lawyer can only be of limited help. If you have already damaged your case all he can do is work with the damage; he can't make it go away.
