Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My husband has been arrested for possession of controlled substance and possession of a glass pipe three days ago, we went to court on the second and it says he has been sentenced with a new court date on the sixteenth of June.

I checked the county jail acgov.org site and his charges from 2009 have resurfaced and his current charges are no longer on the jail site. Those charges are the cause of him being on felony probation.

Those charges are below.

HS 11550(A) M

VC 23152(A + M

VC 2800.2(A F

Does this mean he could do up to three years for the evading?

If the case is from 2009, he should no longer be on probation, unless he violated and the time was tolled. Normal probation is for 3 years, and sometimes, as much as 5 years. If he hasn't pled guilty yet, find him an experienced attorney. As a Former DA, I can tell you that this is a serious matter, and you need to find an excellent attorney who will fight for your husband. I wish you well.........David Wallin
