Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

Live and work in Yosemite Park, CA, I am 59 yrs young

Can a company on federal land ignore a sexual harassment charge ???

A gay on a straight male?

Its was brought up to the work manager(s), housing manager, Human resources, and the main corporate office harassment division.

Its been going on for a year.

Individual harasses males to the point one wants to hit him, then cry's they hate him because he is gay.

He has poled danced on our public transportation system, while we have guest on board

Has been banned from 2 different areas (Guest and employee areas ) in the park

Has gone and sat on males laps, just because he wants to and no one is suppose to say anything about it, he has grabbed males by their private parts

Is a minor (been here 2 yrs) and has been caught drunk, yet we are told they could not tell he was drunk, yet straight people they can tell right off the bat.

People here do not want to complain, reason 1) he plays the gay card 2) management is protecting him

What can be done???

Robert F. Cohen Law Office of Robert F. Cohen

You can file a complaint with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing against both the business and the individual if any of the harassment involved you and occurred fairly recently. Despite being licensed by the federal government to run a business on federal land, the business still should be subject to California laws.
