Legal Question in DUI Law in California

When is DUI no longer on my record

I am looking for employment and every application asks if I have ever meen convicted of a crime. 15 years ago I was convicted of a DUI and paid the fines and completed all the court required. Do I have to still answer yes, or can I say no on the applications?
