Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Rights regarding breathalizer test

I was pulled over for not using my turn single, but was then asked where I was coming from. I had a couple of drinks over several hours, I was given 2 breathalizer tests (by choice). The officer did not show me my BAC so I don't know if I was legally drunk or not, they took me to jail and I still don't know what my results were, plus I let them take blood at the station. Is it legal for them to keep the results from me? Please help! I have a clean driving record until now.

Re: Rights regarding breathalizer test

The officers are not required to tell you the results of your tests. If they kept your drivers license it is safe to assume that your test results were at least .08% BAC or above. Please contact Mike Navarro, Sr. Analyst with our law firm for more information regarding stopping the automatic suspension on your drivers license and defense options in your case at [email protected]. Please be sure to include a contact telephone number in your reply.

If you were taken to jail, then your BAC test showed you were 'drunk'. They gave you a print out of the breath test at the time you were released from jail. You will get the blood results at your first court appearance. If you want experienced counsel to defend you, contact me.
