Annualment or divorce

My husband and I just found out that he isn't legally divorced from his first wife,they filed for divorce in 2002, in Florida. She said it was all finish and everyone moved on..2 weeks ago she called and told him that she changed her mind and stopped the divorce, we got married Aug of 2006..what do we do now...can he get in trouble?..what do we need to do, so we are not in trouble with the law and our married legally

Dissolve the former marriage and get remarried.

Your husband may be able to dissolve the former marriage by entering a judgment non pro tunc. You should probably retain an attorney to determine whether or not he qualifies. If so, you will not have to get remarried if your husband can enter a judgment of dissolution non pro tunc before your date of marriage.

One more thing. You should probably retain your own separate counsel to protect your rights. There may be other financial issues here.
