I suggest that you start by talking with a battered womans shelter in your neighborhood. Your local family law lawyer should be able to provide you with a telephone number.

They can explain the variety of free services they provide and give you a starting point.

Good luck to you.

FIRST: For the domestic abuse contact Victim Assistance Program of Summit County (County Attorney's Office)Assists with protective orders, respond to the scene of the crime, and give court support at 6300 N. Silver Creek Dr. Park City, UT 84098. They should also be able to help you and the children find a shelter. If the father has abused the children, or abused you in front of the children you should be able to get sole custody, and then could move where ever you desire. Good luck.
