Legal Question in Family Law in California

My ex took me to court for a family law issue and her OSC was denied. She is now filing for an appeal and I have been served with the notice. What is the appeal process and is there something that I need to do.

Your ex is wasting a lot of money.

That being said, you have three choices:

1) Do nothing. The appeal court will review the record and make a determination without your input. (Risky)

2) Represent yourself. You will have to check the local law library on what to do next. (Not recommended)

3) Hire an attorney. (The best choice)

It comes down to money (unfortunately). How much do you want to spend? What is the issue really worth to you? You should contact a lawyer as soon as possible as there are deadlines running.
