Difference between 'mediation' & collaborative law

Need advice for daughter-she has two babies & house with mortgage, back to work as Adm.....husband has asked for divorce...will mediation attorney be able to continue as her own attorney if she & husband unable to come to agreeable terms.

Reply: Difference between 'mediation' & collaborative law

The answer depends upon the initial arrangement with the mediator. My mediation agreements preclude me from representing one of the parties in litigation without the written consent of the other party.
