Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am in a divorce, my spouse obtained a $10,000 attorney fee's award at a hearing for preliminary support. The order was to pay $10,000 to her attorney at $250/month. Hypothetically, If her total fees end up being $15,000, and she has already paid $9000 using her separate money, would I end up having to pay $250/mo for the remaining $6000 in balance? Or would I still have to pay the full $10,000 (and with the attorney obviously reimbursing my former spouse in the amount of $4000.)

You pay the full amount and the attorney owes the balance back to your spouse, unless the order clearly and expressly states otherwise.
