Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have been divorced for 6 years. I recently went back to court to change my child custody to 50/50. the judge granted the 50/50 custody. My ex is fighting this so we are going to trial. The judge had the kids speak with a mediator prior to granting the 50/50. Now that we are going to trial, do I take the kids with me to the trial to speak with the judge?

If you have an attorney, please confer with counsel. If you do not have an attorney, check with the clerk in that trial department to determine how the judge intends to proceed. Be sure your ex knows you are contacting the clerk about this issue.
