Divorcing a spouse that is absent and getting full custody of my child
I am trying to get a divorce but,cannot find my estranged spouse.we have been legally separated for about three years,and he has never paid child support for her.I need to get full custody of our daughter with a last name change to my maiden name.My estranged spouse molested our daughter and unfortunatly the police didn't have enough evidence to proscute him.What can I do to finally divorce him and keep him as far away from her as possible?Will this be a costly matter?I currently am not working,I got hurt on the job and was left with permanent damage to my neck and arm.

He must be served with the dissolution request. If he cannot be found you can serve him by publication. The custody order will be included in the dissolution judgment. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
