Legal Question in Family Law in California
Family Law
I resently divorced and I went back to court record online and I found out I have a hearing pending. I don't remember filing it. It states Hearing RE: Non proof of service on dissolution with children of non custodial parent. What does that mean? Do I have to be present that day? Thank you

You need to file a proof of service, if you filed the petition. If your spouse filed the petition, then he needs to file the proof of service. The hearing will go off calendar if a proof of service of the summons and petition is filed.
