Legal Question in Family Law in California

Okay so my friend is trying to leave her husband, but he's telling her that if she leave's him he'll take the kid's from her. She live's in Arkansas and she's trying to move back here to California. what should she do?

She should leave if she is suffering from domestic violence or abuse. If it is simply a matter of wanting to move with the children then she is in danger of potentially kidnapping if she moves without tellling her husband. She needs to speak with an arkansaw attorney first.

This is an Arkansas law issue. Family law varies greatly from state to state, so you or she really need to ask an Arkansas attorney.
