Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a hearing tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. The FCS mediation report is still not done and they said they will have it available at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow. Can I request a continuation based on this or do I need to be prepared to argue my case tomorrow morning?

Be prepared to argue your case. I am not sure what county you are in but recommending counties will give great weight to the FCS recommendation,and do not give a copy prior to the hearing. Not every county is recommending. You should speak to a local attorney in your area.
