Legal Question in Family Law in California

i live in california i am currently seperated from my husband who is now engage.he is planning to get married on july 24 of this year we are still married i am going to turn my final judgement asap so they can get married my ex told me no matter what he can still get married this is what a paralegal told him while still being married to me as long as he's soon to be wife don't say nothing and he does not say anything they will be married is this legal in california to be married to two people at the same time?isn't this bigamy?can i get in trouble for this?

Legally, he should not be getting married again until the court in your divorce action enters a decree of dissolution. Physically, there is nothing to stop him, and this happens frequently in California, albeit with immigrants who speak English as a Second Language. They tend to think that filing the divorce is the same thing as being divorced. You are correct that it is bigamy. It causes his new marriage to be void. You can't get in trouble, you are not the one committing bigamy.
