Legal Question in Family Law in California

I live in California, I have been seperated for 2 years now am a male and the boys stay with their mother. I see them every weekend. I have been paying $800 a month for 2 + years. My boys are 22 and 16. Am I paying too much? How much does an attorney cost to represent me? Main question is do I continue to pay for my 22 year old he is working and dosen't really live there he stays mostly at his Aunties house. Also I have been paying half for everything for the boys, schoool tuition, fun rasiers auto ins. etc.. HELP
