Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have been married for 17 years and want a divorce due to inompatability. My kids will be happy to stay with their dad. I only have middle school education and had not worked for last 17 years (except like 1 or 2 hrs a week) I am feeling insecure and scare about surviving on my own. Do I have a chance to get long term alimony? We both hold US green cards and was married in Asia.

Yes. You would be entitled to spousal support possibly for the rest of your life, unless you remarry.
