Legal Question in Family Law in California

Ms. Arlene Kock, Thank you so much for answering my question concerning spousal support. Ruling out the other factors needed to calculate spousal support, you stated "The support would be calculated based on my husbands retirement and social security income". His retirement is $2100/mo and his social security is $1760/mo Based on and calculated with these figures, what would be the estimated spousal support?

Thank you again for any information.

Unfortunately, there are too many vectors that should be explored to come up with an educated guess. Please meet with an experienced family law attorney in your area to assess your options.

Another issue that will come up is that through Social Security, you could get a portion of that directly. As well, you would ultimately file for a Q.D.R.O. to get a portion of his pension. Ultimately, after that, support would be calculated. Good luck.
