Legal Question in Family Law in California

proof of service

I filed legal separation and had my husband served. I see online that he filed and answer but I have not been served. Since it has been two weeks I went to the court and looked at the file. There is a signed proof of service done by his new girlfriend. How do I show that proof of service is not true? I also noticed wrong case number is on proof of service.

Re: proof of service

When you looked at the answer in the court file, you were effectively served at that instant. I am at a loss as to why you believe you have suffered some detriment. Whether you were served or not, you could not have gotten a default because there was an answer in the court file.
