Legal Question in Family Law in California

"I have a question I have a daughters thats 3, Im not her biological father, but my name is on the birth certificate. My ex wants me out of the picture. Whats rights do I have, if I still want to be involved in her life."

Well, as a matter of law, if you signed the Declaration of Paternity in the hospital, you have all the rights as a biological father. Since your daughter is 3, it would be hard, if not impossible for her to set that aside. There is also a family code section 7611(d) which would apply regardless. But, with the rights to visit, come the responsibility to support. I would highly suggest you discuss these issues with a specialist in family law. Good luck!
