Re: Real Estate and Divorce

It may be community property and most likely you are entitled to some share. When was it purchased? Call me directly at 16192223504.

In a general sense, the issue of real property and how it relates to communnity and separate property law can be very complex. One would have to have more information from you before providing you with an opinion.

For a specific opinion regarding your individual circumstances, I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!

Re: Real Estate and Divorce

This is a complex area of family law and is fact sensitive. Who owns the property may depend on when and how title was taken; did one party quitclaim to the other; if so, was there undue influence; if only one party owns the home is there a loan on the property; did the community pay down the principal. As you can see, there are just too many questions to be answered before an attorney can render a considered opinion.

I strongly suggest that you retain an attorney to help you.
