Legal Question in Family Law in California

I need to be represented by an attorney for cohabitation support. I'm being kicked out after I was told I didn't have to work and I could live here for free and go to school. What kind of attorney do I need and can I find one willing to work with me for $0 down until case is won?

If you are in a non-marital relationship, your agreement would be based upon contract law and the legal concern would be whether or not there was adequate consideration for the arrangement that you referenced. Please meet with a civil litigation attorney that can assist you in this matter.
