retrement entitlement
In the state of California, if your spouse leaves you and your child, after 8 years of marriage and is gone for 9 years, is she entitled to 50% of my retirement?

She would be entitled to 50% of the retirement earned during the marriage. There may be offsets. You need to talk to an attorney to get this straightened out. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
