Legal Question in Family Law in California

Statues of limitations - divorce court orders

I am disabled and now living in NC. My ex has court orders to pay alimony and has not done so in 3yrs. Is there a statue of limitation for me to take him back to court for non-compliance?

There is no statute of limitations on divorce orders. It may harm your case in that you waited a long time though to pursue it. You can collect the amount as a debt in collection or as a judgment.
