Legal Question in Medical Leave in California

I was hired in september of 2006 i had my baby in april of 2007, I am aware I am not able to take FMLA leave due to not being employed for the one year prior, Will I be elgible for FMLA after my year is completed?

FMLA eligibility is based on having worked 1250 hours within the past year -- if you've worked that many hours, it doesn't matter that you haven't been there a year. . . the rules are also quite tricky depending on how an employer has defined the "calendar year."

Yes, but not for 'pregnancy' leave, only for urgent family medical care under normal rules.
