What notice do we send to a customer when they fail to give permission for needed auto repair and fail to pick up their vehicle? They were given an estimate and did not want to pay the amount but never recovered their running vehicle.

You should start with a letter stating that the customer has 10 days to pick up the car and pay storage charges of $___ (a reasonable sum) per day or the vehicle will be turned over to the police or sheriff to be sold at auction under civil code section 2080.3.
